October is the natural breeding period of the Axolotls since they are depending on light (the water of the lake is clear because
of all the rain that have fallen during the summer), and therefor I hoped to help by assisting
light at night. Naturally the axolotls were attracted by the light, and thereby
these constructions would enable a close study of the animal.

Top view of 1986 FAROS II in floating position. H 300 x W 316 x D 316 cm. Cotton canvas, latex, steel, aluminium, car lights, light bulbs dipped in colored
latex, mechanical ignition and bakelite. The top of the Buoy is flat with lights lightning up in a circular motion indicating the concentration
of axolotls to the surrounding villages around the lake. On the top also a strong halogen light is fixed, lightning down into the
water through the cone, which is filled with saltwater, thus stretching it out. Collection MUAC.
